世卫组织:印度甲流疫情有扩大趋势 死亡率偏高

中新网9月14日电 世界卫生组织官方网页14日发布每周最新疫情显示,在亚洲热带地区,甲型H1N1新型流感仍持续蔓延。据台湾“中央社”14日报道,虽然泰国、文莱感染病例已经减少,印度、孟加拉国和柬埔寨则有扩大蔓延趋势。
据印度卫生暨家庭福利部13日晚发布H1N1新型流感最新病例统计,印度H1N1新型流感确诊病例至今已持续增至6139人,死亡人数也持续增至176人。
卫生部官员表示,与其它国家比较,印度新型流感死亡率偏高。不过,迄今为止,世卫组织仍将印度境内新型流感的感染密度列为温和。
世卫组织指出,迄至目前发现的新型流感死亡病例,有44%与病人已经罹患糖尿病、肺病或心脏病以及艾滋病有关。
世卫组织在最新疫情报告中,也重申预防流感蔓延的措施,建议必要时应关闭学校,以减少学生在校园感染及蔓延到校外更广泛地区的风险。
