Jonathan B. Wight
强纳森·怀特
他出生于美国的华盛顿，年轻时曾旅居非洲及拉丁美洲。大学就读于美国北卡罗莱纳州杜兰市的杜克大学（Duke University）并获取学士学位，后于美国南方田纳西州的首府纳什维尔市范德堡大学（Vanderbilt University）获取经济学博士，目前是美国弗吉尼亚州的里士满市里士满大学（University of Richmond）罗宾斯商学院经济学教授和国际问题研究副教授并且是丹佛斯（Dan forth）研究会的会员。
在里士满大学曾荣获杰出教学与杰出贡献奖。
学术成果：
1.论文：“小亚当·斯密的惊险故事”，（A Little Adam Smith Is a Dangerous Thing）获得2001年帕克斯顿（Paxton Award for Outstanding Paper）杰出论文奖，那是国际薪火俱乐部（International Association of Torch Clubs）所颁发的奖项。
2. 论文：“亚当斯密和贪婪”，（The article, “Adam Smith and Greed）于2006年从私营企业杂志赢得了约翰邓普顿奖（won the John Templeton Prize in 2006 from the Journal of Private Enterprise.）。
