我国艾滋病流行形势依然严峻

本报讯 第21个世界艾滋病日即将到来。记者从11月21日由中国预防性病艾滋病基金会、中国优生科学协会、《父母世界》杂志社联合举办的“2008年母婴感染阻断慈善捐助答谢会”上了解到,艾滋病在我国的流行形势仍十分严峻:截至到今年6月30日,全国累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和艾滋病病人252748例,其中病人73071例,死亡30883例,2008年上半年新发22299例,病人6892例,死亡4007例。预计全国约有艾滋病病毒感染者和艾滋病病人70万例。
中国预防性病艾滋病基金会会长李超林指出,艾滋病主要有血液传播、性传播、母婴传播三种途径。统计表明,2007年1月—10月,母婴传播感染艾滋病的比例为1.6%%,因此阻断母婴传播意义重大。
为了支持我国艾滋病防治事业,减少婴幼儿感染艾滋病,有效实施母婴阻断,今年9月,美赞臣营养品(中国)有限公司向中国预防性病艾滋病基金会捐赠了价值人民币166万元的婴幼儿奶粉。基金会已将奶粉发送到河南、云南、广西等17个省区市的婴幼儿手中。答谢会上,中国优生科学协会会长林佳眉向赞助企业颁发了人文关怀奖杯。
