我国艾滋病流行形势依然严峻

本报讯 第21个世界艾滋病日即将到来。记者从11月21日由中国预防性病艾滋病基金会、中国优生科学协会、《父母世界》杂志社联合举办的“2008年母婴感染阻断慈善捐助答谢会”上了解到，艾滋病在我国的流行形势仍十分严峻：截至到今年6月30日，全国累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和艾滋病病人252748例，其中病人73071例，死亡30883例，2008年上半年新发22299例，病人6892例，死亡4007例。预计全国约有艾滋病病毒感染者和艾滋病病人70万例。
中国预防性病艾滋病基金会会长李超林指出，艾滋病主要有血液传播、性传播、母婴传播三种途径。统计表明，2007年1月—10月，母婴传播感染艾滋病的比例为1.6%%，因此阻断母婴传播意义重大。
为了支持我国艾滋病防治事业，减少婴幼儿感染艾滋病，有效实施母婴阻断，今年9月，美赞臣营养品（中国）有限公司向中国预防性病艾滋病基金会捐赠了价值人民币166万元的婴幼儿奶粉。基金会已将奶粉发送到河南、云南、广西等17个省区市的婴幼儿手中。答谢会上，中国优生科学协会会长林佳眉向赞助企业颁发了人文关怀奖杯。
